The Friday Find Sustainable Fashion

Today’s Friday Find is all about eco-friendly fabric made into fabulous Bohemian Chic fashions and accessories. The first question you may ask is what is an eco-friendly fabric? An eco-friendly fabric is  a fabric made from natural materials that was grown with minimum use of chemicals and pesticides, grown with best land management practices, uses sustainable farming practices, and/or uses production that adheres to fair trade practices.

Simple Clutch with removable flower

The first selection a Simple Clutch is by yours truly at sew chic boutique. The Simple Clutch made out of jute, also known as burlap, and come with your color choice of removable flower pin available in 15 different colors. Jute is a versatile fabric that can actually be eaten with proper preparation. This bag is great for every season with bags being available in dark brown, black, and green in starting August 2011.

Hemp and Organic Cotton Siren Dress/Skirt

The next selection is Hemp and Organic Cotton Siren Dress/Skirt by Mountain Lotus. This dress is fitted and strapless perfect to show your curves. This dress is made of organic stretch  cotton and is perfect for those extremely hot summer days. As a plus this dress will transition right into fall by adding a jacket or sweater for those upcoming chilly nights!

White Dream Organic Cotton Blouse with crochet

The last selection is a White Dream Organic Cotton Blouse with crochet by Canselda. The organic cotton blouse is handmade an enhanced by crochet handmade out of cotton rope. This blouse can be made in sizes ranging
from XS to XL. All I can say is it is very romantic and would be a classic in
any Boho closet.

The Friday Find Pieces that Transition to Fall

Friday is here witha few more hot finds from handmade artists. This week after searching high and low 3 unique and  cool finds stood out.  These pieces are not only beautiful for this summer but, will stand the test of time by transitioning into the fall season as well.

Beautiful Long Natural Feather Earrings

 

• The first find are these fun Beautiful Long Natural Feather Earrings by Wild Spirits. These earring are long, colorful, and are just plain hot! They are perfect for summers steamy days and transition well into the fall wardrobe with a punch of color and organic materials great to wear with anything. These French hook earring feature colorful parrot and peacock feathers. You could pair these earring with a great sleeveless shirt and for those with long hair pull it back so you can show these gorgeous feathers off.

• The last Friday find is a vintage since sew chic boutique just loves vintage! This fabulous find is a vintage 1970s Cream Patchwork Lace up Dress available at Dolly Rocker Vintage shop. This dress is a size medium and features an high empire waist, patch work center, a lace-up front, and gorgeous red rick-rack for accents. This dress has so much color and is maxi-dress length as well keeping you on trend while wearing classic vintage. This is a fantastic summer dress but, it will also transition well for fall with a long sleeve bolero sweater and a pair of fall boots.

So this Friday we have something old and new. There is something for every Boho-ista and for those looking to add some Boho flavor to their wardrobe!
